For me becoming a trainer/coach was an easy decision as sports and fitness was part of my life starting at a young age and continued through college. Along with a degree in Exercise Science, I have been a certified for 6 years and 3 years as a strength and conditioning specialist. So whether you are an athlete preparing for the upcoming season, someone looking to increase their overall fitness level, or just looking to move and feel better, I’m here to help you achieve your specific goal.

My name is Alexa and I’ve been in the health and fitness industry for 7 years. I started my own fitness journey as a soccer player up until the collegiate level. After I decided to end my sports career, I got more involved in the fitness industry. I noticed the impact it not only made on my physical health but helped me so much mentally as someone who struggles with anxiety. It inspired me to pursue a career as a personal trainer to help people on their internal and external journey. Taking a step to pursue a healthier version of yourself should never feel like a punishment, it should feel very empowering and my goal with each of my clients is to make sure this is a hardworking but also low pressure environment. Get the results the way YOU want to get them. My specialties are weight loss, functional fitness, strength training and soccer performance. Jordan Blue joined PDX Fitness Zone in 2021. I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Personal Trainer by the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) ready to make an impact on the community through health education and movement! I am also certified in Nutrition and Yoga Instruction. My specialty is in sports-specific training as well as general fitness and group fitness. To say that fitness is a just something I do would be a huge understatement! Being a coach and training others is not a job for me, it is part of who I am! I have a true passion for teaching others to move well and be the best version of themselves that they want to be.
I first began in 2013 with standard one on one training. Eventually transitioning into a group fitness trainer with over 7 years experience as a CrossFit Coach. I have trained individuals from as young as 10 all the way to folks in their 70s. Community and unity through fitness are the driving forces the keep me coming back! Thanks for reading this! Hey guys my name is Irvin Valencia and I've been a personal trainer for over 5 years now. I train men and women on how to efficiently lose weight and or gain muscle mass while educating them on the "how" and "why" portion of education so that way all of my clients aren't just going through the movements but know exactly why I have them on a certain program.
